We're establishing a Cardiovascular Learning Health Network (LHN) to bring together clinicians, consumers, health services, academics and other thought leaders to review relevant data and evidence in order to improve the experiences and outcomes for consumers receiving cardiovascular care in Victoria. 

Who should apply? 

We're looking for a Consumer Lead with lived experience in receiving cardiovascular care, who can advocate for others and is interested in developing their leadership skills to join our Cardiovascular LHN, and work with us to make sure that consumer experiences and perspectives are pivotal to all our Cardiovascular LHN activities. 

Who are we looking for?

Are you someone who is:

  • Passionate about improving consumer engagement and participation in health care
  • Recognised for your deep understanding of the experiences of consumers in cardiovascular settings and your commitment to improving the safety and quality of health care in Victoria
  • An effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

Why you should apply 

This opportunity will enable you to: 

  • Use your valuable experiences in receiving cardiovascular care to provide a specialised consumer-focused lens to shape our approach and priorities 
  • Co-chair the Cardiovascular LHN Advisory Group and develop your ability to influence better outcomes and experiences for consumers receiving cardiovascular care across the State 
  • Participate in networking within SCV and the Victorian cardiovascular healthcare sector
