Home-based and community care models for mild and moderate COVID-19 – the UK experience

    September 2021

Hear from Prof Matt Inada-Kim, who led the development of home-based and community care models for COVID-19 in the UK.

He talks us through how hospitals, community and primary care worked together on the COVID wards model, designed to support early discharge for people recovering from COVID-19 while still oxygen dependent, and the Oximetry at home program.

Matt is the National Clinical Director – Infection, Antimicrobial Resistance and Deterioration and National Clinical Lead, COVID Oximetry @home/virtual wards with NHS England and Improvement.

This webinar was part of the Better at Home series, which is being extended to support sharing of local and international best practice.
