During 2025 the Chief Allied Health Officer (CAHO) Engagement Plan delivered a year of strong connection and collaboration across the sector. Our team completed 13 metropolitan health service visits, each one invigorating, informative, and deeply valuable. These visits and conversations strengthened relationships, surfaced local priorities and enriched our statewide understanding of allied health challenges and opportunities.

Building on this momentum, across 2026 the CAHO Engagement Plan will enable broader scope and scale, creating more consistent opportunities for shared learning, transparency and strategic collaboration across the Victorian allied health and pharmacy workforce.

What’s new and continuing in 2026

  • Expanded health service visits inclusive of rural, regional and mental health services.
  • Launch of Allied Health Connect Victoria
  • Launch CAHO Connect
  • Continued participation in sector‑led groups and advisory networks.
  • A refreshed Allied Health Clinical Council
  • Regular communication through newsletters, SCV channels and LinkedIn.
  • Ongoing collaboration with national and peak bodies.

We thank everyone who contributed to the success of 2025 and look forward to partnering with you throughout 2026.
