From 30 November 2026, Statutory Duty of Candour data for 2025–26 and previous financial years will be closed for routine updates in the Agency Information Management System (AIMS).
What health services need to do
Health services are asked to review their Statutory Duty of Candour data and ensure all required reporting and updates are complete by 30 November 2026, including:
- all required quarterly reporting, including zero reporting where applicable
- existing records are complete and accurate
- any outstanding updates or corrections have been submitted.
From 2026 onwards, 30 November at 5 pm will be the annual closure date for completed SDC financial-year reporting periods. If this falls on a weekend or public holiday, closure will occur on the next business day.
