The Formulary is a statewide reform to establish a single, evidence-based list of medicines for statewide use, supported by strong clinical governance. It will improve equitable access to medicines, standardise prescribing practices, and strengthen the sustainability of Victoria’s public health system.
Have your say
We will work closely with consumers, clinicians, health services, and implementation partners across the sector. Over the coming months, you’ll have opportunities to help us shape the Victorian Medicines Formulary.
Upcoming workshops will be held in June 2026 at the RACV City Club to gather feedback on the proposed Formulary policy and governance structure. Key stakeholders from public health services and sector partners are invited to attend.
