Professor Catchpole is a world leading human factors engineer dedicated to improving safety and performance in health care. With over 22 years of international research across surgical specialties and healthcare systems, his current work spans sterile processing, retained foreign objects, specimen handling, diagnosis, neonatal resuscitation, paediatric intubation and speech interference in surgery. Through 165+ publications and 150+ invited lectures, he has inspired thousands to advance human-centered design in healthcare.
Professor Anderson is a leading figure in the field of Human Factors in healthcare, with a career that bridges psychology, systems thinking, and patient safety. Her work is deeply rooted in improving the quality and safety of care by applying human factors principles to complex healthcare environments.
