It has been 12 months since we launched the Sustainable and Quality use of Diagnostics in Emergency Departments (SQuDs-ED) project across 11 health services and 19 emergency departments in metropolitan and regional Victoria.
The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Women’s Health has published results from the National Preterm Birth Prevention Program. This study shows that the initiative has led to a significant decrease in early birth and improved pregnancy outcomes for women across Australia.
