The Victorian perinatal services performance indicators report is a safety and quality benchmarking report for Victorian maternity and newborn services.
The 2022 report contains data on 23 indicators of perinatal care in Victorian maternity services across 13 key performance areas. These indicators are regarded as insightful measures of the quality and safety of care and are measured at the statewide (combined public and private hospital level) as well as the individual public and private hospital levels.
The report provides insights into where maternity and newborn services are providing exceptional care and where improvements can be made.
