As a statewide initiative, the Safer Together Program is designed to offer something for every health service.

Active participation helps to build collective capability and drive system-wide improvement. We encourage services to identify and engage with the opportunities that best match their context, needs, and capacity.

    Ways to participate

Participation in the Safer Together Program goes beyond involvement in structured priority improvement projects. While our improvement projects are a key component, there are many other valuable ways for health services to engage with the program.

    Join an Expert Working Group

Help shape the design of upcoming improvement projects by contributing your expertise and lived experience to an Expert Working Group.

    Participate in a project

Express your interest in joining our active projects to work alongside others to co-design, test, and refine new models of care.

Connect with your Community of Practice

Learn from other health services currently participating in our improvement projects. Discover which change packages are being tested and prepare to implement improvement toolkits once they are published.

    Use our Improvement Tools

Try developing your own Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles at your health service using our improvement tools and resources.

Participate in our quality improvement capability building sessions

Take part in QI capability-building sessions delivered or online training modules.
