The Sustainable and Quality use of Diagnostics in Emergency Departments (SQuDs-ED) project launched in April 2025 with a two-day Sustainability in Quality Improvement (SusQI) workshop at the University of Melbourne.
Launched in 2021, the 100,000 Lives program is a five-year initiative to improve the safety and quality of healthcare for all Victorians. The program is a collaborative effort between Safer Care Victoria and health services across the state to enhance safety, reduce avoidable harm, and address the gaps in healthcare, especially in regional and diverse communities.
On 21 October, we attended the launch of Falls Prevention Alliance Australia, highlighting the urgent need to reduce fall-related harm among older Australians.
