Applications open for the Safety Culture in Birth Suite pilot
We are now accepting expressions of interest for the Safety Culture in Birth Suite pilot.
In this pilot we are partnering with Victorian maternity services to assess, improve and sustain a positive safety culture in the birth suite.
Health services will be supported to:
- assess their current environment
- identify strengths and improvement opportunities
- address barriers to change in birth suite settings

Results published from the National Preterm Birth Prevention Program
The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Women’s Health has published results from the National Preterm Birth Prevention Program. This study shows that the initiative has led to a significant decrease in early birth and improved pregnancy outcomes for women across Australia.
