Our Renal key performance indicators (KPI) program was in place from 2012 to 2021, to facilitate quality improvement in care for renal patients in Victoria.
Reporting of these indicators has transitioned to the binational Renal Quality Indicator program, run by the the Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA). The indicators are similar and comparable to what we measured in Victoria.
The ANZDATA Registry generates regular Quality Indicator reports, which are circulated to health services.
We thank and acknowledge the many clinicians who contributed to the output and successes of the Victorian Renal KPI program over the past decade and have worked to continue to improve the outcomes for patients with kidney disease.
Listed below, our reports contained data that have helped measure the performance of Victorian renal services and drive service improvement through the transparent comparison of agency performance.
