Quality Improvement in Action – Train the trainer package

Overview

Quality Improvement (QI) in Action is a train the trainer package. It provides a foundational level training program that enables participants to undertake quality improvement initiatives that lead to:

• tangible and measurable outcomes 
• better care for patients, their families and carers. 

Health service quality improvement leads can integrate this package into their local capability development training programs.

Features

This training package includes a: 

• Ready to use training presentation
• Faculty guide 
• Participant workbook.

Training can be delivered online or face-to-face as either:

• a full day training program
• four shorter training sessions:
  1. Creating conditions for change
  2. Understanding the system
  3. Change ideas and testing changes
  4. Measuring and sustaining success
